 Calculate the maximal depth 'Y' of the repair as follows: 1 For the area 'A': Y = T x 1.27 mm (0.0500 in.) or Y = 0.51 mm

 (c) Remove the scratches over an area with a radius 10 times of the permitted depth of the repair, dimension 'Y'.

 Repair of the damage on the trailing edge and the leading edge in the areas A, B, D.

 (a)
 Remove the damage over a length 5 times the depth of the damage at each side of the damaged area.

 (b)
 Rub the area with abrasive paper grade 400.

 (4)
 Repair of the damage on the tip of the turbine blade (area F).

 (a)
 Remove the damage from the blade tip corners (area F) in all directions.

 (b)
 Remove the same quantity of the material from the blade tip corners of the other RAT blade to keep the turbine assembly balance.

 (5)
 Clean the turbine blades.

 (a) Clean the turbine blades with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-010) and a lint-free cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).

 (6)
 Apply PRETREATMENT FOR PAINTING (Material No. 13-002) to the repaired area.

 (7)
 Let the solution stay on the surface for a minimum of 1 minute.

 (8)
 Rinse the applicator with water and discard.

 (9)
 Wash the reworked area fully with water.

 (10) Make the area dry with a new lint-free cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).
