 A. Operational Test of the PTU with the Engine Pumps
 WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
_______ ARE CLEAR BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE/DEPRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.
R WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE WHEEL CHOCKS ARE IN POSITION.

 CAUTION : DO NOT START OR DRY MOTOR THE ENGINES WITH A HYDRAULIC GROUND
_______ POWER SUPPLY CONNECTED TO THE AIRCRAFT. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE PUMPS.
 NOTE : To prevent damage to the PTU:
____
 -make sure that the air pressure in the Green and Yellow reservoirs does not fall below 3 bar (43.5113 psi).
 (1) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the PTU is connected.
R (2) Make sure that the nose wheel steering is activated.
 (3)
 Make sure that the PTU P/BSW on the panel 40VU is in the AUTO position (OFF light not on).

 NOTE : When the PTU starts, the

the PTU starts again when the pressure in the Green hydraulic system is between 2200 and 2850 psi

 NOTE : The PTU operates intermittently

____ Green hydraulic system fluctuates in low flow conditions. The difference in pressure between the stop and the start of the PTU is 200 psi minimum.
