Remove the two seal retaining bolts, nuts, and washers.

Remove the seal plate and the seal cover from the top and bottom surface of the pressure deck.
(c)
Cut the shrink sleeve from the seal.

(1) Lubricate the cable with grease for the full length of the cable.
NOTE: Do not fill the tube with grease.

(a) Remove unwanted grease from the cable.

Install the air pressure seal (Fig. 401):
(a)
Push the tube through the seal plate.
(b)
Make sure the smaller gasket of the seal plate is against the spherical end of the tube.
(c)
Put the shrink sleeve on the tube.
(d)
Install the cable end through the tube assembly with the spherical end of the tube pointed down.
NOTE: A rigid wire attached to the cable end can make for
____ an easier installation.

(4) S 434-061Do this task to attach the shrink sleeve on the seal halves: "Heat
Gun, Soldering Guns and/or Soldering Irons" (AMM 20-11-25/201).
