 2) Make sure the bushing (27) touches the head of the bolt
 with a minimum axial force of 70 pounds.
 (i) Put the rod end of the actuator (6) in its position in the
 upper rudder attachment fitting (26).
 (j) Install the bolt assembly (29) in the upper rudder attachment
 fitting (26).
 (k) Make sure the bolt assembly (29) engages the antirotation step
 (25).
 (l) Install the washer (28) and nut (30).
 (m) Tighten the nut (30) to 800-1000 pound-inches more than the
 run-on torque.
 (n) Move the summing lever to engage the actuator fitting.
 (o) Install the support assembly (33):
 1) Install the washers (34) and bolts (20).
 2) Install the bushing (35), washer (37), bolt (36), washer
 (38) and collar (39).
 3) Tighten the bolts (20 and 36).

 (5)  Fill the bolt holes in the pillow block (3) forward of the bolts
 (11) with sealant.

 (6)  Connect the hydraulic lines H3 and H4 to the center actuator (6):
 (a) Remove the caps from the hydraulic lines.
 (b) Apply hydraulic fluid or assembly lube to the hydraulic
 fittings.
 (c) Connect the hydraulic lines H3 and H4.

 (7)  Do the task to put the airplane back to its usual condition.

 (1)  
Do the task to prepare for the removal of the PCA.

 (2)  
Disconnect the hydraulic lines H5 and H6 from the lower actuator (7):

 (a)  
Put a bucket below the actuator to catch the hydraulic fluid.

 (b)  
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the actuator.

 (c)  
Install caps on the hydraulic lines.

Remove the lower actuator (7):

 (a)  
Remove the nut (44) and washer (43).

 (b)  
Remove the bolt (40) and washer (41) that connect the actuator

 (7)
 to the upper rudder attachment fitting (42).

 (c)  
Use the fishpole hoist and the hoist frame equipment to hold the actuator (7).

 (d)  
Remove the four bolts (11) and washers (12) that attach the actuator (7) to the trunnion (8).

 (e)  
Retract the piston in the actuator (7).

 (f)  
Install the caps on the hydraulic ports.

 (g)  
Remove the lower actuator (7).

 NOTE: You will install this shim (10) in the same location.
