Install the spindle bolt (30) with the lubrication insert (29), the tang washer (22), and the nut (21).

Assemble the truck lock components:
(a)
Align the link (25) with the holes in the side plates (24).
(b)
Put the two bolts with the washers in the side plates (24) to hold the link (25) and the pushrod end (26).
(c)
Align the roller (23) with the holes in the side plates (24).
(d)
Put the bolt with the washer through the side plates (24) to hold the roller.
(e)
Install the three washers on the ends of the bolts with the three nuts. 1) Tighten each nut 36 to 60 pound-inches. 2) Install the cotter pins.

Install the nut (21) on the end of the spindle bolt (30):
(a)
Tighten the nut (21) 40 to 50 pound-feet.
(b)
Loosen the nut (21) to align the nearest castellation with the lockbolt hole in the spindle bolt (30).

Install the lockbolt (20) with the washer and the self-locking nut.
