(5) S 224-019Examine that you align the forward edge of the door with the fuselage skin (section B-B). (a) The aft edge of the door agrees with the dimensions shown in section C-C.
(6) S 834-020If the adjustment is necessary, adjust as follows:
WARNING:_______DO NOT MOVE THE DOORS TOO QUICKLY. IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a)
Move the release handle for the nose landing gear to the open position (See "Ground Door Release Handle Open Operation").
(b)
Disconnect the door operator rods from the doors.
(c)
Open the release handle to the close position to retract the operator rods (See "Ground Door Release Handle Close Operation").
(d)
Manually hold the left door against the forward stop.
(e)
Adjust the adjustment bolt until the door aligns with the fuselage in the limits shown in section B-B.
(f)
Adjust the control rod until the attachment bolt attaches easily through the control rod and the door clevis.
NOTE: Do not install the bolt.

(g)
Turn the door stop with one full turn after you align the door.
(h)
Do the above three steps for the right door.

Adjust the aft edge of the door if it is necessary.
(a)
Manually hold the left door up against the adjustment bolt of the aft stop.
(b)
Adjust the stop until the aft edge of the door agrees with the dimensions in section C-C.
(c)
Do the above steps for the right door.

CAUTION:_______MOVE THE OPERATOR RODS CAREFULLY. IT CAN PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE SKIN.

Lower the door and operate the release handle to extend the door actuator.

Connect the operator rods to the right and the left forward doors of the nose landing gear.

Move the release handle to the closed position to close the doors (See "Ground Door Release Handle Close Operation").

Remove the persons and the equipments from the forward door of the nose landing gear before you operate the release handle.
