WING LANDING GEAR DOWNLOCK-OPERATED SEQUENCE VALVE AND MECHANISM -

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains these four tasks:
(1)
The removal of the downlock-operated sequence valve for the wing landing gear
(2)
The installation of the downlock-operated sequence valve for the wing landing gear
(3)
The removal of the mechanism for the downlock-operated sequence valve for the wing landing gear
(4)
The installation of the mechanism for the downlock-operated sequence valve for the wing landing gear.
B.
To remove the sequence valve these operations are necessary:
(1)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines.
(2)
Remove the valve attach bolts.
(3)
Remove the valve and the lever mechanism.
(4)
Disconnect the valve from the lever mechanism.
C.
To install the sequence valve these operations are necessary:
(1)
Install the hydraulic fittings.
(2)
Install the lever mechanism.
(3)
Install the valve.
(4)
Connect the hydraulic lines.
(5)
Do a check for leaks.
D.
To remove the sequence valve mechanism these operations are necessary:
(1)
Remove the striker arm.
(2)
Disconnect the clevis assembly from the sequence valve.
(3)
Remove the clevis assembly and the lever assembly.
(4)
Disconnect the clevis assembly from the lever assembly.
(5)
Remove the roller from the lever.
E.
To install the sequence valve mechanism these operations are necessary:
(1)
Install the roller on the lever assembly.
(2)
Connect the clevis assembly to the lever assembly and the link.
(3)
Install the clevis assembly on the valve.
(4)
Install the attach bolts.

Install the striker arm.
F.
The sequence valve correctly sequences hydraulic pressure from system No. 4 to the OPEN side of the door actuator. It hydraulically connects to the uplock-operated sequence valve.
G.
The downlock-operated sequence valve attaches to the structure. The sequence valve is near the top of the upper side strut of the wing landing gear. The striker arm connected to the strut operates the valve.
