6) Connect the electrical connector DX225C to the cargo door junction box. 7) Turn the latch actuator counterclockwise to the fully open position before you try to the operate door. 8) Do the operational check again. Safety the switch locknuts with wire after the switch is adjusted.

(7) Adjust the latches closed switch (Fig. 409):
CAUTION:_______IN CASE THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN, STOP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH. HOLDING THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH MAY DAMAGE THE ACTUATOR. WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE BEFORE SECOND ATTEMPT. IF THE DOOR STILL DOES NOT OPEN, WAIT AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD ATTEMPT.
(a)
Open the door electrically one to two feet.
(b)
Fully close the door electrically.
NOTE: Door must be closed electrically because the latch
____ position at the electrical shutoff shows you if the switch setting is correct.
(c)
Use a dial indicator torque wrench to apply 25 |5 pound-inches torque to the manual drive of the latch actuator in the clockwise direction.
(d)
Carefully count the remaining turns until external stops touch (closed position) (Fig. 403). The external stops must touch in 3 |1 turns.
(e)
If the external stops do not touch in 3 |1 turns, do these steps: 1) Subtract the actual number of remaining turns from the 3 |1
necessary turns. 2) Subtract this difference from 8 |1/4 turns. 3) With the external stops against each other, turn the manual
drive 15 turns counterclockwise.

4) Disconnect the electrical connector DX225C from the cargo door junction box.
5) Adjust the switch until there is continuity between pins 9 and 10 of connector DX225C as the latch actuator is turned clockwise the number of turns you found above.
NOTE: The switch must operate as the latch actuator is
____ turned to the closed stops (clockwise). One turn of the limit switch locknut will change the switch operation point approximately one turn on the latch actuator.
EXAMPLE: Assume that there is 1 remaining turn
_______ before the stops touch each other. The 3 necessary turns minus the 1 actual turn equals 2 turns. Adjust the switch until there is continuity when the latch actuator is turned clockwise 6 |1/4 turns (8 |1/4 minus 2).
EXAMPLE: Assume that there are 4 remaining turns before
_______ the stops touch each other. The 3 necessary turns minus the 4 actual turns equals -1 turn. Adjust the switch until there is continuity when the latch actuator is turned clockwise 9 |1/4 turns (8 |1/4 minus -1).
6) Connect the electrical connector DX225C to the cargo door junction box. 7) Do the check again. Safety the switch locknuts with wire when the switch is fully adjusted.

(8) Adjust the open switches for the midspan latch (Fig. 409):
NOTE: This procedure is for the two open switches for the midspan
____ latch. Do each step on the two switches before you do the next step.
(a) With the door closed, loosen the locknuts and adjust the switch in the bracket to get the initial setting.
