Lubricate these parts with grease:

The power unit shafts

 (d)  
The gearbox shafts.

Install the quill shaft on the forward gearbox and brake assembly shaft.

Install the lift power unit.

 (a)  
Engage the forward shaft of the power unit with the quill shaft on the forward gearbox and brake assembly.

 NOTE: Turn the manual drive shaft on the power unit
____ clockwise to align the quill shaft and the power unit shaft.
 (b)  Install the four bolts that attach the power unit to the structure.
 NOTE: Two of these bolts go through the forward gearbox
____
 and brake assembly.

 (c)  
Put the shim (if used) between the flange of the power unit and the support bracket.

 (d)  
Install the screw that attaches the power unit to the support bracket.

 (e)  
Put the forward end of the torque tube on the power unit shaft.

 (f)  
Make sure the coupling on the aft end of the torque tube, aligns with the shaft on the aft gearbox and brake assembly (Detail C).

 (g)  
If it is necessary to align the coupling with the shaft, do these steps:

 CAUTION: PROTECT THE SPLINES IF YOU USE THEM TO TURN
_______ THE SHAFT. YOU CAN EASILY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SPLINES.
 1)  Cover the splines on the power unit shaft with short wood blocks or a short shaft with internal splines.

 2)  Turn the power unit shaft to align the coupling and the shaft (Detail C).
 (h)  
Install the bolt through the splined fitting and the coupling (Detail C).

 (i)  
Install the bolt through the coupling and the aft gearbox and brake assembly (Detail C).

 (j)  
Install the quill shaft on the manual drive gearbox.

 (k)  
Align the quill shaft with the internal splines in the power unit.

 NOTE: Turn the manual drive if it is necessary to align
____
 the quill shaft and the splines.

 (l)  
Install the manual drive gearbox on the structure with four screws (Detail B).

 (m)  
Install electrical connector DX209.

 (4)  
Close these circuit breakers for the side cargo door.
