Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Put the bearing housings on the actuator arm.
NOTE: Make sure the correct bearing housing is on the

Put the actuator arm and the bearing housings between the flanges on the structure.

Install the bolts that attach the bearing housings to the structure.

Install the downstop (with the door down switch attached) on the bearing housings.

(7) Do these steps to make sure you attach the actuator arm to the
actuator link correctly:
(a) Hold the actuator arm 0.20 +/-0.01 inch away from the downstop
(Detail D).
(b) Install the rigging pin SCD-7 in the slot at the bottom of the
slip joint on the actuator link (Detail C).
(c) Push on the actuator link to compress the slip joint and hold
the rigging pin in the slot.

(8) Install the bolt that attaches the actuator link to the actuator
arm.

Do these steps if you can not install the bolt through the actuator arm and link:
(a)
Remove the wire from the inboard end of the actuator link.
(b)
Adjust the inboard rod end of the actuator link until you can install the bolt.
(c)
Make sure these occur at the same time you install the bolt: 1) The slip joint is compressed to hold the rigging pin 2) The clearance between the actuator arm and the downstop is
0.20 +/-0.01 inch (Detail D).
(d) Safety the inboard end of the actuator link with wire.

Tighten the bolt from 800 to 1200 pound-inches.

Remove rigging pin SCD-7 from the slip joint on the actuator link.

Move the door down switch to get 0.032 to 0.040 inch clearance between the switch and the actuator arm (Detail D).
