Adjust the flushness of the pressure relief doors as follows:
(a)
Make sure the master latch lock handle is closed.
(b)
Make sure the flushness between the pressure relief door and the cargo door cuttout is 0.03 inch.
(c)
Adjust the stop pins (View A-A) as it is necessary.

Examine the spring force.
(a)
Push the pressure relief door inboard 1 inch measured from the top of the door.
(b)
Make sure the door opens with a force of 12-16 pounds.
(c)
Push more on the pressure relief door until the top of the door is open 4 inches (| 0.1 inch).
(d)
Make sure the force necessary is between 15-20 pounds.
(e)
Replace the springs if you cannot get the necessary forces.

Install the drip shields on the cargo door.

Install the fiberglass shroud.

C. Procedure

(1)
Examine the spring force.
(a)
Push the pressure relief door inboard 1 inch measured from the top of the door.
(b)
Make sure the door opens with a force of 12-16 pounds.
(c)
Push more on the pressure relief door until the top of the door is open 4 inches (| 0.1 inch).
(d)
Make sure the force necessary is between 15-20 pounds.

DOOR HINGE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The first task is the removal of a hinge from the side cargo door.
(2)
The second task is the installation of a hinge on the side cargo door.
B.
The door hinge assembly on the upper edge of the side cargo door has 13 sections. The sections have numbers from 1 to 13 with hinge section 1 at the forward end of the door. Hinge section 1 is a single unit hinge with a separate hinge pin. Hinge sections 2 and 3 are single unit hinges with the same hinge pin. Hinge sections 4 thru 10 are single unit hinges with separate hinge pins. Hinge sections 11, 12 and 13 are single unit hinges with the same hinge pin.
