(1)
Make sure that the access platform is below the applicable false rear spar, at zone 571(671).

Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system has been depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

Make sure that the pressure in the brake accumulator of the Yellow hydraulic system is at zero.
(4)
Make sure that the isolation coupling of the PTU is disconnected (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Alternate Brake Manifold Filter
(1)
Install the new packing (4) and the new back-up ring (5) onto the new filter (3).
(2)
Install the filter (3) in the manifold.
(3)
Install the new packing (2) on the plug (1).
(4)
Install the plug (1) and TORQUE to between 3.85 and 4.0 m.daN (28.39 and 29.49 lbf.ft).
(5) Safety the plug (1) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010). Subtask 32-43-32-865-055
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1GG, 2GG, 3GG, 4GG, 61GG, 70GG, 71GG, 110GG, 3801GX, 3802GX, 3803GX

E. Test
(1)
Do an operational test of the alternate brake system (Ref. TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(2)
Make sure that there are no leaks from the plug (1).
(3)
Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) between the plug (1) and the manifold body.
