A. On the fluid level indicator of the reservoir, examine the position of the piston end.
(1)
If the piston end is aligned with the green band or between the red band and the green band, the level is correct.
(2)
If the piston end is aligned with or below the red band:
(a) Fill the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-32-611-002).

Close the access door 811.

(1) Put an access platform in position at the access door 811.

(1)
Put a warning notice in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the brake pedals.
(2)
Put a container in position below the master cylinder (13) that you must remove.

D. Drain the Alternate Brake Reservoir
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 32-43-12-991-003)
(1)
Put a container near the Alternate brake reservoir (2624GM).
(2)
Remove the plug (23) and the seal (22) from the valve (21)
(3)
Install a FILLER ADAPTOR TMH DI43-32-00 or equivalent on the valve (21).
NOTE : Before you connect the filler adaptor to the valve (21), turn
____ the knob fully to the left to make sure that the striker is fully rearward.
(4)
Connect a bleed hose on the filler adaptor and put the other end in the container.
(5)
Use the knob on the filler adaptor to move the striker forward to bleed the Alternate brake reservoir.
NOTE : You must do this operation with a smooth movement to prevent
____
damage to the valve mechanism.
(6)
When the Alternate brake reservoir is bled, turn the knob fully to the left to move the striker rearward.
(7)
Remove the bleed hose, the filler adaptor and the container.
