 A. Installation of the Tool
 (1) Remove the blanking plug from the test port of the bleed pressure regulator valve.
 (2) Connect the TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED SYSTEM (98F36003002000) or equivalent to the bleed pressure regulator valve as shown on the given figure.

R R  (2) Connect the BLEED EXTERNAL CLAPPER (M82000460) to the the test port of the bleed pressure regulator valve. 
R R  (3) Connect the TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED SYSTEM (98F36003002000) or equivalent to the BLEED EXTERNAL CLAPPER (M82000460).

 B. Functional Test of the Bleed Pressure Regulator Valve
 (1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
 -push the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch (OFF legend is off).

 On the test set:

- open the shutoff valve of the air cylinder.

 On the test set:

-use the primary regulator to pressurize the pressure source to 200 psi (13.7895 bar)

 3.
 On the test set:

-make sure that the systems No. 1, 2 and 3 are not pressurized.

4.
 On the test set:

-slowly pressurize the system No. 1 to 20 psi (1.3789 bar)

5.
 In the cockpit, on the AIR control panel 30VU:

-release the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch (OFF legend is on).

 6.
 In the cockpit, on the AIR control panel 30VU:

-push the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch (OFF legend is off).

 7.
 On the test set:

On the test set:
-
the pressure gage of the air cylindershows the pressure.

On the test set:

-
the primary gage shows 200 psi(13.7895 bar)

On the bleed pressure regulator valve:
-
check that the visual positionindicator shows that the valve is closed.

On the bleed pressure regulator valve:

-
check that the visual positionindicator shows that the valve is open.

On the bleed pressure regulator valve:

-
check that the visual positionindicator shows that the valve isclosed.

On the bleed pressure regulator valve:

-
check that the visual positionindicator shows that the valve isopen.

On the bleed pressure regulator valve:

 On the test set:  On the bleed pressure regulator valve:

 -make sure that the systems No. - check that the visual position
 1, 2 and 3 are not pressurized.  indicator shows that the valve is closed.
 4. On the test set:  On the bleed pressure regulator valve:
 -slowly pressurize the system - check that the visual position
 No. 1 to 14 psi (0.9652 bar)  indicator shows that the valve is open.
 5. In the cockpit, on the AIR  On the bleed pressure regulator valve: control panel 30VU: - check that the visual position
 -release the ENG 1(2) BLEED  indicator shows that the valve is pushbutton switch (OFF legend closed. is on).
