R  - Make sure that the access panel 161AW is removed.

R  - Make sure that the access panel 161CW is removed. 
R  (o) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR65 and FR70: 
R  - Make sure that the partition panel 161DW is removed (Ref. TASK

R  (p) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR70 and FR77: 
R  - Make sure that the access door 312AR is open. 
R  (q) For the APU bleed-air ducts aft of FR77: 
R  - Make sure that the access door 314AR is open. 
R  (3) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the 
R  applicable access panel.

 4. Procedure

 A. Installation of the Bleed-Air Duct
 (1)
 Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (2)
 Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (3)
 Remove the blanking caps from the bleed-air duct flanges (15) and (19).

 (4)
 Check the bleed-air duct flanges (15) and (19) for correct condition.

 (5)
 Lubricate the seal (16) with COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-007). NOTE : This material is a molybdenum disulfide powder. Before you can

____ apply it, you must make a paste. To do this, mix the powder with pure water or white spirit.

 (6)
 Install the seal (16) in the duct (13) (Ref. TASK 20-26-00-910-002).

 (7)
 Install the duct (13).

 Install the connecting rods (14) with the bolts (5), the washers (7) and the nuts (8).

 (9)
 Install the clamp (20) and torque the nut with the value given on the clamp.

 (10)
 Install the spring rods (11) with the bolts (12), the washers (10) and the nuts (9).

 (11)
 Make sure that the clearance "X" is parallel around the ducts. NOTE : A deviation of 1.5 mm (0.0590 in.) for a 3.5 in. (88.8998 mm)

____ and 1.8 mm (0.0708 in.) for a 4.0 in. (101.5998 mm) duct is permitted.

 (12)
 If necessary adjust the ducts with the connecting rods (14). NOTE : Make sure that there is no tension on the ducts.

 Install the bonding straps (2) with the bolt (1), the washer (3) and the nut (4) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-006).

 (14)
 Install the APU overheat sensing elements (6) (Ref. TASK 36-22-17-400-001).

 B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1HV, 2HV, 2HA1, 2HA2, 3HA1, 3HA2
