If the damage is lessthan the allowablelimits:. Remove the pylon interface duct (Ref. TASK 36-11-49-000-040). . Repair the damage (Ref. ESM 71-09-00). . Install the pylon interface duct (Ref. TASK 36-11-49-400-040).

If the damage is more than the allowable limits, replace the duct (Ref. TASK 36-11-49-000-040) and (Ref. TASK 36-11-49-400-040).
If the damage is less thanthe duct OD, do the weldrepair (Ref. ESM 71-09-00) (Repair No. 3).
If the damage is the sameas or more than the ductOD, do the doubler and

2. Examine the Pneumatic
System Mid Stage Tee Assembly, look for: (Ref. Fig. 602/TASK 36-11-49-991-915)
A. Cracks, Splits or Kinks None permitted
B. Wrinkles in bends Maximum depth cannot be more than 3 percent of the duct diameter or
0.060 inch (1.52 mm) which ever is smaller.
C. Dents Maximum depth of 0.3 inch (7.62 mm) or Maximum depth cannot be more than 10 percent of the duct outside
diameter.
Minimum width to depth ratio to be 5:1.
Dent has to be free from
cracks, abrasion and sudden contour changes. Radius is not less than
2 times the wall
thickness.
Maximum of 2 dents for
each one foot (305mm) of the duct length.
D. Flat areas Maximum flat area cannot
be more than 2 times the
section repair (Ref. ESM
71-09-00) (Repair No. 4).
Replace the duct(Ref. TASK 36-11-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 36-11-49-400-001).
If wrinkles are more thanthe allowable limits,replace the duct(Ref. TASK 36-11-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 36-11-49-400-001).
If the dents are more thanthe allowable limits,replace the duct(Ref. TASK 36-11-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 36-11-49-400-001).
