 A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 Energize the ground service network
 (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

 (2)
 On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.

 (3)
 Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.

 (4)
 Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
 (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

 (5)
 Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.

 (6)
 Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).

 (7)
 Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

 (8)
 Make sure that the APU exhaust access-fairing 317AL is removed (Ref. TASK 52-41-18-000-001).

 (9)
 Make sure that the exhaust muffler is removed (Ref. TASK 49-81-41-000-003).

 Install the bellows (3) on the exhaust muffler (5).

 (2)
 Install the clamp (4) on the bellows (3).

 (3)
 TORQUE the clamp (4) to between 0.2 and 0.22 m.daN (17.69 and 19.46 lbf.in).

 Install the hot nozzle (1) on the exhaust muffler (5).

 (5)
 Put the drain line (7) in the six o'clock position.

 (6)
 Install the clamp (2) on the bellows (3).

 (7)
 TORQUE the clamp (2) to between 0.2 and 0.22 m.daN (17.69 and 19.46 lbf.in).

 (8)
 Install the exhaust muffler (Ref. TASK 49-81-41-400-003)
