 AILERONS - REPAIRS

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains the data that is necessary to replace the index plate on the wing rib near the inboard end of the aileron. For the replacement of the index plate on the ailerons, refer to OHM 57-50-21.
 B.  You will need two rivets, blind 100-degree head, MS20605B-3, to do the index plate installation.

 C. Remove the Index Plate
 S 868-009
 (1)  
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 (a)  
P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) FLT CONT SHUTOFF VALVES

 

 S 038-010
 (2)  
Remove the two rivets, MS20605B-3, that attach the index plate to the wing rib.

 S 028-011

 (3)  
Remove the index plate.
