F. Inboard Ground Spoiler Installation
SUBTASK 27-62-12-420-001
(1) Install the Inboard Ground Spoiler [1]:
(a) Put the Inboard Ground Spoiler [1] in its position on the airplane.
(b) Install the bolt [41] with the head inboard, washer [40], bushing [39], washer [42], nut [43],
and pin [44] in the inboard hinge fitting.
(c) Install the bolt [25] with the head outboard, washer [26], bushing [27], washer [28], nut [29],
and pin [30] in the center right hinge fitting.
(d) Install the bolt [23] with the head outboard, washer [22], bushing [21], washer [20], nut [18],
and pin [19] in the center left hinge fitting.
(e) Install the bolt [2] with the head outboard, washer [3], bushing [4], washer [7], nut [6], and
pin [5] in the outboard hinge fitting.
(f) Install washer [8], washer [9] and nut [11] and connect the bonding jumper [10] to the
Inboard Ground Spoiler [1].
NOTE: Bend the bonding jumper 45 +/- 5 degrees away from the fitting.
(g) Install washer [46] washer [48] and nut [47] and connect the bonding jumper [45] to the
Inboard Ground Spoiler [1].
NOTE: Bend the bonding jumper 45 +/- 5 degrees away from the fitting.

(2) Move the Inboard Ground Spoiler [1] through its full travel.
(a) Make sure the Inboard Ground Spoiler [1] moves freely.

(3) Install the bolt [12] that attaches the rod end of the outboard actuator [24] to the Inboard Ground
Spoiler [1]:
(a) Apply a layer of grease, D00633 to the bolt [12].
(b) Install the bolt [12] with its head outboard.
(c) Install the washer [13], bushing [14], washer [15], and nut [17], and on the bolt [12].
(d) Tighten the nut [17].
(e) Install the pin [16].
(f) Apply grease, D00633 to the bolt [12], washer [13], bushing [14], washer [15], nut [17], and
pin [16].

(4) Install the bolt [37] that attaches the rod end of the inboard actuator [38] to the Inboard Ground
Spoiler [1]:
(a) Apply a layer of grease, D00633 to the bolt [37].
(b) Install the bolt [37] with its head outboard.
(c) Install the washer [36], bushing [35], washer [34], nut [32], nut [31] and pin [33] on the bolt
