 E. Complete the Installation of the Flap Drive Lever and the Actuator Drive Lever at the Track 1 Position (Ref. Fig. 421/TASK 27-54-61-991-021)
 (1)
 Install the washer (107) and the nut (108) on the bolt (104).

 (2)
 TORQUE the nut (108) to between 5.5 and 6.0 m.daN (40.56 and 44.24 lbf.ft).

 (3)
 Safety the nut (108) with the new cotter pin (109).

 (4)
 Complete the installation of the trunnion assembly (165) at the track 1 position as follows: (Ref. Fig. 425/TASK 27-54-61-991-022-A)

 (a) Use the SPANNER - TRUNNION NUT, TRACK 1 (98D27504095000) and TORQUE the locknut (162) to between 6.9 and 8.6 m.daN (50.88 and
 63.42 lbf.ft).
 (b) Safety the locknut (162) with the tabwasher (158).

 (c)
 Apply a layer of BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-004A) to the retainer (161).

 (d)
 Install the retainer (161), the tabwasher (160) and the bolt (159).

 (e)
 TORQUE the bolt (159) to between 5.0 and 5.5 m.daN (36.87 and

 40.56 lbf.ft).
 (f)
 Safety the bolt (159) with the tabwasher (160).

 (g)
 Attach the bonding strap (167) with the bolt (168) and the nut

 (166) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

 F. Duplicate Inspection of the Installation of the Track 1 Trunnion Assembly (Ref. Fig. 425/TASK 27-54-61-991-022-A)
 NOTE : The duplicate inspection must be done by two qualified persons,
____ one after the other (who did not do the installation).
 (1) Make sure that:
 -
the toothplate (157) is installed on the eccentric bush (163) correctly

 -
the tabwasher (158) safeties the locknut (162)

 -that a layer of sealant has been applied to the retainer (161)
 -the bolt (159) that holds the retainer (161), is saftied correctly with the tabwasher (160).

 G. Complete the Installation Procedure
 (1)
 Complete the inboard flap rigging procedure (Ref. TASK 27-51-00-820-009).

 (2)
 Check and if necessary, reset the datum zero position of the Asymmetry Position Pick-off Unit (APPU) (Ref. TASK 27-51-00-820-001):

 H. Installation of the Tab Drive Control Rod at the Track 2 Position
 (1)
 Install the tab drive control-rod (68) at the track 2 position: (Ref. Fig. 419/TASK 27-54-61-991-026)

 (a)
 Install the loose bushes (57) and (66).

 (b)
 Install the tab drive control-rod (68) to the tab attachment bracket (62) with the bolt (61). Do not install the washer (65) and the nut (64) at this time.

 (c)
 If necessary, adjust the tab drive control-rod (68) to let you connect it to the carriage assembly (56) as follows:

 (2)
 When the tab drive control-rod (68) is at its correct length:

 (a)
 Install the bolt (70).

 (b)
 Tighten the nut (69) and tighten the nut (67) by hand as much as possible.

 (c)
 Remove the bolts (70) and (61) and remove the tab drive control-rod (68).

 (d)
 Make sure that the threads of the eye-ends of the tab drive control rod (68) are in safety.

 (e)
 TORQUE the nut (69) to between 3.3 and 3.8 m.daN (24.33 and 28.02 lbf.ft).

 (f)
 TORQUE the nut (67) to between 2.2 and 2.4 m.daN (16.22 and 17.69 lbf.ft).

 1_ Remove the bolt (61) and remove the tab drive control-rod
 (68).
 2_ Remove and discard the lockwire from the nuts (67) and (69).
 3_ Loosen the nuts (67) and (69).
 4_ Install the tab drive control-rod (68) to the tab attachment
 bracket (62) with the bolt (61).
 5_ Adjust the length of the tab drive control-rod (68) until you
 can install the bolt (70).

 (g)
 Safety the nuts (67) and (69) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).

 (h)
 Install the correctly adjusted tab drive control-rod (68) with the bolts (61) and (70).

 (i)
 Install the washers (58) and (65) and the nuts (60) and (64).

 (j)
 TORQUE the nut (60) to between 0.8 and 1.4 m.daN (70.79 and

 123.89 lbf.in).
