 (4)  If you replaced engine throttle switch S1, S2 or S4, do the following test of the engine throttle switches S1, S2, or S4:
 NOTE: During the test the speed brake ARMED light will be on if the
____ speed brake DO NOT ARM light is off and the opposite. Thus, the procedure will give one light indication at a time unless the two lights are off.
 (a)  
Make sure the thrust levers No. 1 and 2 are in the idle position.

 (b)  
Make sure the speed brake lever is in the DOWN position.

 (c)  
Make sure the ground spoilers are in the fully down position.

 (d)  
AIRPLANES WITH THE SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES; Push the speed brake test switch 3 to retract the speed brake actuator.

 (e)  
AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES; Move one of the two thrust levers forward to retract the speed brake actuator.

 (f)  
Put the ANTI-SKID switch in the ON position on the center panel.

 (g)  Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 1) P6-2 Panel
 a) AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC
 b) AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC
 c) AIRPLANES WITH AUTOSLAT COMPUTER;
 AUTOSLAT NO. 1 AC
 AUTOSLAT NO. 2 AC
 (h)  Make sure the parking brake is released.
 (i)  Make sure the weight of the airplane is on the landing gear or
 the right main gear is compressed a minimum of 5 inches.
 (j)  Put the speed brake lever in the ARMED position.
 1) Make sure the ARMED light comes on.
 (k)  Put the WHEEL SELECT knob in the LI position on the antiskid
 control unit installed in the E3-2 shelf.
 (l)  On the antiskid control unit, push the LW and SKID switches at
 the same time.
 1) Make sure the spoilers move to the fully up position.
 2) Release the switches.
 (m)  Move the No. 1 thrust lever to the fully forward position.
 1) Make sure the speed brake lever moves to the DOWN position.
 2) Make sure the spoilers move to the retracted position.
 3) Make sure the ARMED and the DO NOT ARM lights are off.
 (n)  Move the thrust lever to the idle position.
 (o)  Put the speed brake lever in the ARMED position.
 1) Make sure the ARMED light comes on.
 (p)  On the antiskid control unit, put the WHEEL SELECT knob in the
 RI position.
 (q)  Push the LW and SKID switches at the same time.
 1) Make sure the spoilers move to the fully up position.
 2) Release the switches.
 (r)  Move the No. 1 thrust lever to the fully forward position.
 1) Make sure the speed brake lever moves to the DOWN position.
 2) Make sure the spoilers move to the retracted position.
 3) Make sure the ARMED and the DO NOT ARM lights are off.
 (s)  Move the thrust lever to the idle position.

 (t) Put the speed brake lever in the ARMED position.
 1) Make sure the ARMED light comes on.
 (u) On the antiskid control unit, put the WHEEL SELECT knob in the
 RO position.
 (v) Push the LW and SKID switches at the same time.
 1) Make sure the spoilers move to the fully up position.
 2) Release the switches.
 (w) AIRPLANES WITH THE SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES;
 Push the SPEED BRAKE TEST switch 3 to retract the speed brake
 actuator.
 (x) AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES;
 Move one of the two thrust levers forward to retract the speed
 brake actuator.
 1) Make sure the speed brake lever moves to the DOWN position.
