1)  Apply BMS5-95 class B1/2 to the underneath side of the head and to the shank of the fasteners (14) common to the upper control housing (4) and shim (13).
 2)  Install fasteners (14).

 (4)  Adjust the vertical position of the window if it is necessary:
 (a)  If you remove a shim washer (27) from one lower roller (25), remove one from the other lower roller or the window will turn.
 NOTE: You must also add a shim washer (10) to the upper

 roller (9).

 (b)  
Change the number of shim washers (27) between the lower bellcranks (22 and 28) and the lower rollers (25) as necessary. 1) Loosen the set screw (24) in the bellcrank. 2) Remove the special bolt (26). 3) Add or remove the shim washers (27). 4) Install the special bolt (26). 5) Tighten the set screw (24).

 (c)  
Change the number of shim washers (10) between the upper bellcrank (12) and the upper roller (9) as necessary (detail B). 1) Remove the special screw (7) from the upper bellcrank (12). 2) Add or remove shim washers (10). 3) Install the special screw (7).

 (5)  Adjust the position of the rollers in the tracks if it is necessary (detail B).
 (a)  If the upper roller (9) does not move freely in the upper track, change the number of shim washers (10) between the upper bellcrank (12) and the upper roller (9): 1) Remove the special screw (7) from the upper bellcrank (12).

 2) Add or remove the shim washers (10). 3) Install the special screw (7).
 (b)  If a lower roller (25) does not move freely in the lower track, change the number of shims (21) under the lower control housing (6 or 23) as necessary: 1) Loosen the attachment bolts (19) which attach the lower
 control housings (6 or 23) to the window rim.
 NOTE: Pull the bulb pressure seal (17) out of the groove
____ in the window rim to get access to the countersunk bolt.
 2)  Pull out the bolts and gently pull the housing from the window rim and corner fitting as necessary to get access to the shims (21).
 3) Add or remove the shims (21). 4) Install the control housings (6 or 23).

Close and lock the window.

Make sure that the window is aligned with the skin in the tolerance (Section A-A).

 (1)  Adjust the external release handle (5) if it is not aligned with the external skin:
 (a)  
Remove the cockpit trim panel below the window No. 2.

 (b)  
Increase or decrease the length of the turnbuckle (4) and turn the eccentric bushing (2) as necessary.

 (c)  
Install the lockwire or a lockclip on the turnbuckle (4).

 (d)  
Install the cockpit trim panel.
