(3) Clean the coalescer bag:
CAUTION:_______RUB THE COALESCER BAG LIGHTLY WITH A SMOOTH TOOL. THE NAP (FUZZ) OF THE COALESCER BAG IS EASILY DAMAGED. IF YOU RUB THE COALESCER BAG TOO HARD OR IF YOU USE A ROUGH TOOL, IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE NAP.
(a)
Use the solution to clean the coalescer bag.
(b)
Use clean water to remove the solution from the coalescer bag.
(c)
Use the blower or cloth to dry the coalescer bag.
NOTE: If you use the cloth to dry the coalescer bag, do not
____ rub the coalescer bag. If you use the cloth to dry the coalescer bag, push the cloth lightly against all of the coalescer bag.

(4) Install the coalescer bag in the water separator:
(a) Put the coalescer bag in its position in the water separator.
NOTE: Make sure the nap of the coalescer bag is against the
____ inner screen of the water separator.
(b)
Install the elastic band in the groove that is around the relief valve.
(c)
Push the coalescer bag against all of the water separator screen.
(d)
Install the retaining ring in the groove near the inlet of the water separator.
(e)
If there is a downstream retaining ring, install it in the groove at the bottom of the coalescer bag: 1) Put the retaining ring on the water separator inlet with
the loop pointed away from the inlet. 2) Hold the loop while you put the other end of the ring into the water separator. 3) Move the loop in the counterclockwise direction to compress the ring. 4) Put the ring in the groove at the downstream end of the coalescer bag. 5) Make sure the loop on the end of the ring points to the water separator inlet. 6) Adjust the ring and the coalescer bag until all of the ring is tightly in the groove.
7) If it is necessary, turn the inlet end of the coalescer bag until the coalescer bag is smoothly against the water separator screen.

(f) Install a 0.032-inch lockwire on the loops on the ends of the retaining ring.
NOTE: The lockwires hold the retaining ring tightly
