 C. Install the Water Collector
 S 424-007
 (1)  Do these steps to install the water collector on pack 1 or 2:
 (a)  Install the support clamp on the serviceable water collector.
 NOTE: Do not tighten the support clamp until the water
____ collector is correctly set and aligned.
 (b)  
Put the water collector in the installed position.

 (c)  
Loosely install a clamp and sealing at the ends of the water collector to connect the water collector with the adjacent duct assemblies.

 (d)  
Align the water collector with the ducts at its ends.

 (e)  
Connect the rods to the support clamp on the water collector (see Fig. 401, View A-A).

 (f)  
Install the drain line to the drain port on the bottom of the water collector.

 (g)  
Tighten the support clamp and the two clamps at the ends of the water collector.

 (2)  Do these steps to install a water collector on pack 3:
 (a)  
Install the support bracket on the water collector (see Fig. 401, Detail D).

 (b)  
Put the water collector in the installed position.

 (c)  
Install the fasteners to hold the support clamp to the brackets (see Fig. 401, Detail D).

 (d)  
Install the clamp and sealing at the inboard end of the water collector to connect the water collector with the duct assembly from the heat exchanger.

 (e)  
Install the duct assembly that connects to the outboard end of the water collector: 1) Put the duct assembly in its installed position. 2) Install the clamp and sealing at the ends of the duct

 assembly. 3) Connect the rods to the support clamp on the duct assembly (see Fig. 401, Detail C).

 (f)  
Align the water collector and the duct assemblies.

 (g)  
Install the drain line to the drain port on the bottom of the water collector.

 (h)  
Tighten all of the clamps.

 D. Do the Installation Test for the Water Collector
 S 944-010
 (1)  
Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the applicable PACKS selector on the P5 panel.

 S 864-009

 (2)
Operate the applicable air conditioning pack (Ref 21-00-00/201).

 S 794-015
 WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE DUCTS OR COMPONENTS WHEN YOU OPERATE THE PACK.
_______ THE DUCTS AND COMPONENTS ARE HOT. IF YOU TOUCH THE HOT DUCTS OR COMPONENTS, YOU CAN GET A BAD INJURY.
 (3) Feel for leaks at the clamps at the ends of the water collector.
 (a)  
Small leaks are permitted.

 (b)  
You must repair a large leak. 1) Make sure that the clamps are tightened. 2) Make sure that the ducts are aligned. 3) Replace the sealing at the joint if the leak persists.

 E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
 S 414-012
 (1)  Close the applicable access door:
 (a)  
191A-L for pack 1,

 (b)  
191H-L for pack 2,

 (c)  
192A-R for pack 3.

 S 864-013
 (2)  Do the procedure to stop the air conditioning pack
 (Ref 21-00-00/201).
