R (1) Put an access platform in position at the access door 822.
R (2) Open the access door 822.

R C. Safety Precautions
R (1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the
R aircraft external power receptacle.
R (2) FOR 41XU1, 41XU2, 51XU1, 51XU2
R Put warning notice(s) in position on the access door 121AL to tell
R persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft
R external power receptacle.
R (3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these
R pushbutton switches are released:
R - BAT1, BAT2,
R - APU GEN,
R - GEN1, GEN2,
R - EXT PWR.
R (4) In the cockpit, put warning notice(s) in position to tell persons not
R to operate the pushbutton switches on these overhead panels:
R - 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR section),
R - 25VU (APU section),
R - 35VU (ELEC).

R A. Removal of the AC Current Transformer
R FOR 41XU1, 41XU2
R (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 24-22-17-991-002)
R (1) Remove the screws (6).
R (2) Remove the cover (7) to get access to the terminal block (5).
R NOTE : You must identify (also with the indications on the current____
R transformer) and disconnect only the cables which go through
R the current transformer.
R (3) Remove the nuts (1), the washers (2) and the cables (3) and (4) from
R the studs of the terminal block (5).

R (4) Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the current transformer
R (10).
R (5) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connector (11) and
R electrical receptacle (12).
R (6) Remove the screws (8) and the washers (9) from the current
R transformer (10).
R (7) Move the current transformer (10) along the cables to remove it.

R (1) Record the location and the color of the cables of each bundle which
R goes through the current transformer (1).
R (2) Remove the screws (7) and the washers (8) from the studs of the
R module 30XN1 (30XN2).
R (3) Disconnect the cables (9) from the studs of the module 30XN1 (30XN2).
R NOTE : You must identify (also with the indications on the current____
R transformer) and disconnect only the cables which go through
R the current transformer.
R (4) Remove the nuts (10) and the washers (11) from the studs of the
R module 30XN1 (30XN2).
R (5) Disconnect the cables (12) from the studs of the module 30XN1
