- do the Interface test of the IR (system 1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-14-00-740-001).
 (a) If the Interface test of the IR (system 1) gives a maintenance message related to a FMGC2 failure:
 - replace the FMGC-2 (1CA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the FMGC OWN CB 1 bus from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 22-86/02).
 (b) If the Interface test of the IR (system 1) does not give a maintenance message related to a FMGC2 failure:
 - replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 2 (1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the DATA FROM FMGC bus from the COM/NAV FREQ SEL RMP 2 (1RG2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 23-13/01).
 (2) If the test gives again the maintenance message
 FMGC2(1CA2)/RMP2(1RG2)/ADF2/ (2RP2):

 - do the BITE test of the VOR/MKR (Ref. AMM TASK 34-55-00-740-002).
 (a) If the BITE test gives a maintenance message related to a RMP failure:
 - replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 2 (1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the NAV FREQ DATA OUTPUT bus from the COM/NAV FREQ SEL RMP 2 (1RG2) the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-53/01).

 (b) If the BITE test does not give a maintenance message related to a RMP failure:
 - replace the RECEIVER-ADF, 2 (2RP2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-400-002).
 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the FREQUENCY CONTROL PORT A bus from the ADF receiver 2 (2RP2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-53/01).
R **ON A/C 051-099, 106-149, 201-299, 301-399, 401-499,
 A. If the test gives the maintenance message ADF2 : NO DATA FROM CONTROL SOURCE: - on the center pedestal, on the RMP 2, push the NAV and the ADF
 pushbutton switches (the green LED on these pushbutton switches comes on).
 - do the BITE test of the ADF (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-00-740-003).
 (1) If the test does not give the maintenance message ADF2 : NO DATA FROM CONTROL SOURCE:
 - do the Interface test of the IR (system 1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-14-00-740-001).
 (a) If the Interface test of the IR (system 1) gives a maintenance message related to a FMGC2 failure:
 - replace the FMGC-2 (1CA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
 1 If the fault continues:
_

 - replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 2 (1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).

 (b) If the BITE test does not give a maintenance message related to a RMP failure:

 1_ If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the NAV FREQ DATA OUTPUT
 bus from the COM/NAV FREQ SEL RMP 2 (1RG2) the first
 terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-53/01).

 - replace the RECEIVER-ADF, 2 (2RP2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-400-002).
 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the FREQUENCY CONTROL PORT A bus from the ADF receiver 2 (2RP2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-53/01).
