 (a) If the Interface test of the IR gives a maintenance message related of a FMGC 2 failure:
 - replace the FMGC-2 (1CA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the FMGC OWN CB 1 bus from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 22-86/02).
 (b) If the Interface test of the IR does not give a maintenance message related of a FMGC 2 failure:
 - replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 2 (1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the DATA FROM FMGC bus from the COM/NAV FREQ SEL RMP 2 (1RG2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 23-13/01).
 (2) If the test gives again the maintenance message
 FMGC2(1CA2)/RMP2(1RG2)/ DME2(2SD2):

 - do the BITE test of the VOR/MKR (Ref. AMM TASK 34-55-00-740-002).
 (a) If the BITE test gives a maintenance message related of a RMP 2 failure:
 - replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 2 (1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the NAV DATA OUTPUT bus from the COM/NAV FREQ SEL RMP 2 (1RG2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-51/01).
 (b) If the BITE test does not give a maintenance message related of a RMP 2 failure:
 - replace the INTRG-DME, 2 (2SD2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-51-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-51-33-400-001).

 - do the BITE test of the DME (Ref. AMM TASK 34-51-00-740-002).
 (1) If the test gives a maintenance message: R - Do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance R message. R
 (2) If the test does not give a maintenance message:
 - replace the INTRG-DME, 2 (2SD2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-51-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-51-33-400-001).
 (a) If the fault continues:
 - replace the ANTENNA-DME, 2 (3SD2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-51-11-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-51-11-400-002).

 1 If the fault continues:
_
 - do a check and repair the wiring from the DME antenna 2 (3SD2) to the DME interrogator 2 (2SD2) (Ref. ASM 34-51/01).
 B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
