(1) Do the BITE test of the TCAS (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-00-740-001).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message ATC2 (1SH2)/TCAS (1SG):
- replace the CMPTR-TCAS (1SG) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the XT COORD-2 bus from the TCAS computer (1SG) to the ATC/MODE S transponder 2 (1SH2): from pins AE/14H, 14J to pins AA/5G, 5H (Ref. ASM 34-43/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

(1) If the test gives a maintenance message:
- Do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

Aug 01/05 CES (2) If the test does not give a maintenance message:
- replace the CMPTR-TCAS (1SG) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the CTL UNIT-ATC/TCAS (3SH) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-400-001).
(b) If the fault continues:
- replace the XPDR-ATC/MODE S, 1 (1SH1) and the XPDR-ATC/MODE S,2 (1SH2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-33-400-001).
