R - do a check and repair the wiring of the W/R SELECTED
R discrete from the DMC2 (1WT2) to first terminal block
R (Ref. ASM 34-41/01).
R (b) If the weather radar display is not correctly shown on the F/O ND
R with the EIS DMC selector switch at F/O 3:
R - replace the DMC-2 (1WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).
R 1_ If the fault continues:
R - do a check and repair the wiring from the DMC2 (1WT2) to the
R F/O ND (3WT2):
R . from pins AB/12B, 12C to pins AA/13, 14
R . from pins AB/12H, 12J to pins AA/40, 41
R . from pins AB/13B, 13C to pins AA/28, 29
R . from pins AB/13H, 13J to pins AA/26, 27 R (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
R (2) If the weather radar system 2 is set:
R - on the center pedestal, on the SWITCHING panel 8VU, set the EIS DMC
R selector switch to F/O/3, and make sure that the weather radar
R display is correctly shown on the F/O ND.
R (a) If the weather radar display is correctly shown on the F/O ND
R with the EIS DMC selector switch at F/O/3:
R - replace the DMC-2 (1WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).

R 1_ If the weather radar display is still incorrectly shown on the
R F/O ND with the EIS DMC selector switch at NORM:
R - do a check of the wiring of the WR2 INPUT 1 and the WR2
R INPUT 2 buses from the DMC2 (1WT2) to the first terminal
R block (Ref. ASM 34-41/01).
R a_ If there is no continuity:
R - repair the above wiring.
R b_ If there is continuity:
R - do a check and repair the wiring of the W/R SELECTED
R discrete from the DMC2 (1WT2) to the first terminal block
R (Ref. ASM 34-41/01).
R (b) If the weather radar display is not correctly shown on the F/O ND
R with the EIS DMC selector switch at F/O 3:

R C. If the weather radar display is not shown or incorrectly shown on the two
R NDs:
R - do the BITE test of the weather radar (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-00-740-002).
R NOTE : In case of incorrect avionics ventilation, the radar images are
____ R not shown to prevent overheat of NDs.
R (1) If the test gives a maintenance message:
R - you can find the related trouble shooting procedure in the
R applicable Page Block 101.
R (2) If the test does not give a maintenance message:
R - on the weather radar control unit (3SQ), do a check of the position
R of the system selector switch.
R (a) If the weather radar system 1 is set:
R - replace the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 (1SQ1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-R 33-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-400-003).
R 1_ If the fault continues:
R - do a check of the wiring of the TR1 DATA BUS 1 OUTPUT and
R the TR1 DATA BUS 2 OUTPUT buses from the weather radar
R transceiver 1 (1SQ1) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM
R 34-41/01).

R . do a check of the wiring of the weather radar
R transceiver mounting tray (9SQ) :
R * from pins A/A and A/E to the control unit (3SQ), pins
R A/D and A/E.
R * from pin A/F to the ground point.
R * from pin A/C to the weather radar transceiver 1 (1SQ1),
