A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the ADF (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-00-710-002).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the ADF 2 data do not come into view on the ND:
- do the BITE test of the ADF (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-00-740-003).
(1) If the test gives a maintenance message:
- Do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
(2) If the test does not give a maintenance message:
- replace the RECEIVER-ADF, 2 (2RP2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-400-002).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the ANTENNA-ADF LOOP AND SENSE, 2 (3RP2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-11-400-001).

- do a check and repair the wiring from the ADF loop and sense
antenna 2 (3RP2) to the ADF receiver 2 (2RP2) (Ref. ASM 34-

A. Test Do the BITE test of the ADF (system 1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-00-740-003).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC1/2/3 (1WT1/2/3)/DDRMI (1FN)/ADF1 (2RP1):
- swap the RECEIVER-ADF, 1 (2RP1) and the ADF receiver 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-400-002).
(1) If the fault stops:
- replace the ADF receiver that you installed on side 2.
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the ADF receiver 1
- do a check and repair the wiring from the ADF receiver 1 to the first terminal block: for pins AB/13B, 14B of the ADF receiver 1 (Ref. ASM 34-53/01)
- install the ADF receiver 1.
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
