- replace the CMPTR-TCAS (1SG) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-34-400-001)
- if the fault continues, do a check and repair the suppressor coaxial cable from the TCAS computer (1SG) pin AC/12 to the connector 150VC (Ref. AWM 34-43-05).
(2) If the test is OK, do the BITE test of the TCAS (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-00-740-001):
- if the test is OK, do a check and repair the suppressor coaxial cable from the ATC transponder 2 (1SH2) pin AC/12 to the connector 150VC (Ref. AWM 34-52-03).
R **ON A/C 051-099, 106-149, 201-299, 301-399, 401-499,
R A. If the ATC2 test gives the maintenance message TCAS(1SG)/ ATC2(1SH2), and
R if the TCAS test gives the maintenance message TCAS (1SG):
R - on the center pedestal, on the ATC/TCAS control unit, set the ATC1 to
R on and do the BITE test of the ATC (system 1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-00-R 740-004).
R (1) If the test gives the maintenance message TCAS(1SG)/ ATC2(1SH2):
R - replace the CMPTR-TCAS (1SG) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-34-000-001) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-34-400-001)
R - if the fault continues, do a check and repair the suppressor
R coaxial cable from the TCAS computer (1SG) pin AC/12 to the
R connector 150VC (Ref. AWM 34-43-05).
R (2) If the test is OK, do the BITE test of the TCAS (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-R 00-740-001):
R - if the test is OK, do a check and repair the suppressor coaxial
R cable from the ATC transponder 2 (1SH2) pin AC/12 to the connector
R 150VC (Ref. AWM 34-52-03).

A. Test
(1) Do the functional test of the TCAS antennas (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-00-720-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test of one TCAS antenna shows that the location of the TCAS intruders on the NDs is incorrect:
- do a check of the connectors of this antenna for moisture.
(1) If there is moisture:
- dry and clean the connectors.
(2) If there is no moisture (if the connectors are clean and in the correct condition):
(a) Make sure that:
- the connectors are in the correct position
- the antenna is in the correct position (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-11-400-001). Repair if necessary.
(b) Do a check and repair the coaxial cables.
(3) If the fault continues:
- replace the TCAS antenna (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-43-11-400-001).
