Procedure

 S 434-008
 (1)  
Install the locking bar on the module:

 (a)  
Make sure all the valves are in OPEN.

 (b)  
Set the locking bar on the module.

 (c)  
Install the lower mounting bolt with the bolt head aft.

 1)  Install a washer below the bolt head and on the two sides of the module.

 (d)  
Install the upper mounting bolt with the bolt head aft. 1) Install a washer below the bolt head, below the nut and on

 the two sides of the module. 2) Tighten the nut by hand. 3) Install a new cotter pin.

 (2)  
Install the module:

 (a)  
Set the module in the airplane.

 (b)  
Install the upper and lower mounting bolts with the bolt heads forward and a washer below each nut.

 (c)  
Install the center mounting bolt with the bolt head aft. 1) Set the filler and the spacer between the module and the

 structure. 2) Install a washer below the nut.

 (3)  S 434-009Remove the caps and the plugs from the module and the hydraulic lines. (a) Remove hydraulic fluid that falls on the floor.
 (4)  S 644-010Lubricate the fittings with the assembly lube or the hydraulic fluid.
 (5)  S 434-011Attach the eight hydraulic lines to the module.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, AND LANDING GEAR CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (6)  
Do this task: "Put the Elevator Hydraulic Systems A and B Back to the Condition Before the Pressure Removal" (Ref 27-31-00/201).

Move the control column and the rudder pedals to bleed the hydraulic lines.

Examine the hydraulic connections for leaks.

Close the access door 3701.

 If it is necessary, do this task:  "Service Hydraulic Reservoirs" (Ref 12-12-00/301).

 A.  This procedure has one task. The task is an operational test of the isolation valves hydraulic module (which is referred to as the "module").

This task is to give you the instructions to do the test of the six manual isolation valves (which is referred to as the "valve"). You can do the test of the module or the test of one valve at a time.
