 9) Move the control column to the neutral position. a) Make sure the lights on the test box agree with Fig. 503.
 10) Move the control column more than 4 degrees forward of the neutral position. a) Make sure the lights on the test box agree with
 Fig. 503. 11) Move the control column to the neutral position. 12) Set all the switches on the test box to OFF.
 (f)  
Disconnect the test box and connect the electrical connectors.

 (g)  
Remove the protractor.

 (10) Do the test of the column cutout switch (optional procedure).
 NOTE: Do this test when the test module C27007-21, -26, or -31

 is not available.

 (a)  
Install the protractor on the captain's control column.

 (b)  
Move the control column to the neutral position, which is 6.9 +/-0.8 degrees forward of the vertical position.

 (c)  
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the column cutout switch.

 (d)  
Connect the ohmmeter between pins 8 and 10 in the column switching module receptacle D3124. 1) Move the control column to the neutral position.

 a) Make sure the ohmmeter shows continuity.
 2)  Move the control column more than 6 degrees aft of the neutral position. a) Make sure the ohmmeter shows no continuity.
 3)  Move the control column more than 4 degrees forward of the neutral position. a) Make sure the ohmmeter shows no continuity.
 (e)  Connect the ohmmeter between pins 5 and 12 in the column switching module receptacle D3124. 1) Move the control column to the neutral position.
 a) Make sure the ohmmeter shows continuity.
 2)  Move the control column more than 6 degrees aft of the neutral position. a) Make sure the ohmmeter shows no continuity.
 3)  Move the control column more than 4 degrees forward of the neutral position. a) Make sure the ohmmeter shows continuity.
 (f)  Connect the ohmmeter between pins 3 and 6 in the column switching module receptacle D3124. 1) Move the control column to the neutral position.
 a) Make sure the ohmmeter shows continuity.
 2)  Move the control column more than 6 degrees aft of the neutral position. a) Make sure the ohmmeter shows continuity.
