 (7)  Install the spacer (16) on the camshaft (10).

 (8)  Install the camshaft forward bearing (17) in the structure.

 (9)  Insert the camshaft (10) through the forward bearing (17) and
 install shim (18A).
 (a)  Make sure all parts are tightly stack-up.
 (b)  Keep a gap between the end of the bearing (17) and shim (18A)
 to 0.005 - 0.015 inches (See Figure 401, view A-A) before you
 install washer (18).
 NOTE:____ Use micrometer to measure the gap.
 (c)  Install the washer (18) and the nut (19).

 (10) Install the spacer (2) in the quadrant assembly (4).
 NOTE: When you install the spacer (2), temporarily put in a 3/8
____ inch diameter rod (approximately 3-1/4 inches long) through the quadrant assembly to keep the spacer aligned.

 Put the quadrant assembly (4) in the quadrant support (1).

 (a)  
Push the temporary rod you installed on step (10) and put the bolt (3) through the quadrant support and the quadrant assembly.

 Install the cable MLGEA on the quadrant assembly (4).
