Install the security plate (9) with the screws (8).

TORQUE the screws (8) to between 0.05 and 0.068 m.daN (4.42 and 6.01 lbf.in).

Safety the screws (8) with the lockwire MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(12)
Put the new O-ring (6) with a thin layer of FUELS (Material No. 01-001) on the drain plug (7).
(13)
Install the drain plug (7) in the APU fuel pump (1).
(14)
TORQUE the drain plug (7) to between 0.97 and 1.2 m.daN (85.84 and
106.19 lbf.in).
(15)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(16)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(17) Connect the electrical connector (2) to the APU fuel pump (1).

Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

Install the new packing (7) and the new packing (8) with a thin layer of FUELS (Material No. 01-001) to the APU fuel pump (1).
(4)
Put the APU fuel pump (1) in position.
(5)
Carefully push the APU fuel pump (1) into the canister (6) with the release slot in line with the security blockscrew (5).
(6)
Turn the APU fuel pump (1) clockwise until the pump is in the correct position.
(7)
Attach the APU fuel pump (1) with the screws (10) to the canister (6).
(8)
TORQUE the screws (10) to between 0.35 and 0.45 m.daN (30.97 and
39.82 lbf.in).
(9)
Put the new packing (4) with a thin layer of FUELS (Material No. 01-001) on the drain plug (3).
(10)
Install the drain plug (3) in the APU fuel pump (1).
(11)
TORQUE the drain plug (3) to between 0.49 and 0.6 m.daN (43.36 and
53.09 lbf.in).
(12)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(13)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(14) Connect the electrical connector (2) to the APU fuel pump (1).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD, 1QC, 2QC, 3QC.

D. Test R (1) Do the leak test of the APU fuel line (Ref. TASK 28-22-00-790-002). R (2) Examine the APU fuel pump connections for leaks during the test.
