10__ TORQUE tighten the bolt (26) to between 0.08 and 0.10 m.daN
(7.07 and 8.84 lbf.in).
NOTE : Do the step that follows before the sealant has cured.____
11__ Use the sealant pushed out from between the front fairing (21)
and the cover plate (24) to make a fillet seal. Clean the
unwanted sealant from the front fairing and the cover plate
assembly to make a smooth finish. Make sure that the sealant
does not cause a blockage in the drain hole (20).
(c) Hold the front fairing (21) and the cover plate (24) assembly in position against the lower wing skin.
NOTE : Make sure that the harness (27) does not rub against the
____ edges of the cover plate (24).
(d)
Make sure that there is a clearance of 0.5 mm (0.0196 in.) to 3.0 mm (0.1181 in.) between the intermediate fairing (18) and the front fairing (21). If necessary, cut and de-burr the overlap at the rear of the front fairing (21) to get the correct dimension.
(e)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the washers (23) and the threads of the bolts (22).
(f)
Install the assembly with the bolts (22) and the washers (23).
(g)
TORQUE tighten the bolts (22) to 1.13 m.daN (99.99 lbf.in).
(6) Make sure that the guide (30), the bracket (31) and the clamp (34) are positioned correctly. TORQUE the nuts (32) on the bolts (33) to between 0.14 and 0.16 m.daN (12.38 and 14.15 lbf.in).

R (1) Loosen the nuts (31), the bolts (32) and the clamp (33) on the
R bracket (34) and the guide (30).
R (2) Install the intermediate fairing (5) as follows:
R (a) Hold the intermediate fairing (5) in position near the lower wing
R skin.
R (b) Carefully push the harness (25) into the retention channel inside
R the intermediate fairing (5).
R (c) Make sure that the harness (25) is held correctly below the lips
R of the retention channel in the intermediate fairing (5).
R NOTE : Make sure that the harness (25) is not in tension.____
R (d) Engage the key-hole slots in the intermediate fairing (5) with
R the wing skin bolts.
R (e) Move the intermediate fairing (5) forward to engage the bolts
R fully.
R (f) Make sure that the harness (25) is not caught between:
R - the key-hole slot positions on the intermediate fairing (5) and
R the wing skin
R - the edge of the intermediate fairing (5) and the wing skin.
R (3) Install the rear fairing (4) as follows:
R (a) Make sure that the intermediate fairing (5) is correctly
R installed and pushed tightly against its stop.
R (b) Hold the rear fairing (4) in position near the lower wing skin.
