 Subtask 28-21-49-020-050
 A. Removal of the Inboard Fuel Pump Fairing NOTE : Remove the inboard fuel pump fairing in this sequence:
____ -front fairing (8) and cover plate (10) assembly
 -rear fairing (4)
 -intermediate fairing (5). NOTE : There can be sealant between the fairing(s) and the lower wing
____ skin. If necessary, use a plastic scraper to remove the sealant from the edge of the fairing/wing skin. Do not push the scraper between the fairing and the wing skin as this can cause damage to the harness. Remove the parts carefully.
 (1) Remove the front fairing (8) and the cover plate (10) assembly as follows:
 (a)
 Hold the cover plate (10) and remove the bolts (9).

 (b)
 Remove the front fairing (8) and the cover plate (10) from the lower wing skin.

 (2) If necessary, remove the front fairing (8) from the cover plate (10) as follows:
 (a)
 Hold the front fairing (8) and the cover plate (10) assembly and remove the bolt (12), the washer (11) and the bush (6).

 (b)
 Remove the front fairing (8) from the cover plate (10). NOTE : There can be sealant between the front fairing (8) and the

____ cover plate (10). If necessary, use a thin plastic scraper to remove the front fairing (8) from the cover plate (10).
 (3)
 Remove the rear fairing (4) as follows:

 (a)
 Remove the nut (1), the bolt (3) and the bush (2).

 (b)
 Move the rear fairing (4) rearwards in the slotted holes, then lower it from the wing skin bolts.

 (c)
 Release the harness (25) from the rear fairing (4).

 (4)
 Remove the intermediate fairing (5) as follows:

 (a) Move the intermediate fairing (5) rearwards in the slotted holes, then lower it from the wing skin bolts.
 (b) Release the harness (25) from the intermediate fairing (5). Subtask 28-21-49-020-051
 B. Removal of the Outboard Fuel Pump Fairing
 NOTE : Remove the outboard fuel pump fairing in this sequence:

____ -front fairing (20) and cover plate (22) assembly
 -rear fairing (16)
 -intermediate fairing (17). NOTE : There can be sealant between the fairing(s) and the lower wing
____ skin. If necessary, use a plastic scraper to remove the sealant from the edge of the fairing/wing skin. Do not push the scraper between the fairing and the wing skin as this can cause damage to the harness. Remove the parts carefully.
 (1) Remove the front fairing (20) and the cover plate (22) assembly as follows:
 (a) Hold the cover plate (22) and remove the bolts (21).

 (b) Remove the front fairing (20) and the cover plate (22) assembly from the lower wing skin.
 (2) If necessary, remove the front fairing (20) from the cover plate (22) as follows:
 (a)
 Hold the front fairing (20) and the cover plate (22) assembly and remove the bolt (24), the washer (23) and the bush (18).

 (b)
 Remove the front fairing (20) from the cover plate (22). NOTE : There can be sealant between the front fairing (20) and

____ the cover plate (22). If necessary, use a thin plastic scraper to remove the front fairing (20) from the cover plate (22).
 (3)
 Remove the rear fairing (16) as follows:

 (a)
 Remove the nut (13), the bolt (15) and the bush (14).

 (b)
 Move the rear fairing (16) rearwards in the slotted holes, then lower it from the wing skin bolts.
