 A. Remove blanking plugs from the pump (19) and the lines (2), (4), (6) and (26).

 B. Preparation before Installation
 (1)
 Apply FUELS (Material No. 01-001) on the new O-rings (15), (18), (20),(29).

 (2)
 Install the O-ring (15) on the valve (3).

 (3)
 Install the O-ring (29) on the valve (3).

 (4)
 Install the O-rings (18) on the valve (3) and the line (7).

 (5)
 Apply COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-017) on the shaft end of the valve (3).

 (6) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-001) on the head of the screws (17). R **ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 151-199, 201-220, 229-230,

 C. Installation of the Fuel Crossfeed Valve (10qm)
 (1)
 Install the valve (3) on the line (2) and on the rear spar (16). NOTE : Make sure that the valve (3) is in the closed position.

 Install the screws (17) and tighten.

 (3)
 Connect the cross-union (5) together with the lines (4) and (6) to the valve (3) and to the line (7).

 (4)
 Play at the connections between the lines will help you connect the lines and the cross-union to the valve.

 Install the O-ring (20) between the cross-union (5) and the pump (19).

 Install the washers (21), the screws (22) and tighten.

 (7)
 Screw and tighten the nuts (28) (Ref. Detail E).

 (8)
 Connect the line (26) to the cross-union (5) and tighten the nut (27).

 (9)
 Connect the bonding strip (24) and install the bolt (25), the nut

 (23) and tighten.
 (10)
 Connect the bonding strips (11) and install the bolts (14), the washers (13), the nuts (12) and the tighten.

 Install the crossfeed valve actuator 5QE (Ref. TASK 28-23-51-400-001).

 C. Installation of the Fuel Crossfeed Valve (10qm)
 (1)
 Install the valve (3) on the line (2) and on the rear spar (16). NOTE : Make sure that the valve (3) is in the closed position.

 Install the screws (17) and tighten.

 Install the drive assembly (32) and the bonding lug (31).

 (4)
 Install the nuts (30) and tighten.

 (5)
 Connect the cross-union (5) together with the lines (4) and (6) to the valve (3) and to the line (7).

 Play at the connections between the lines will help you connect the lines and the cross-union to the valve.

 (7)
 Install the O-ring (20) between the cross-union (5) and the pump (19).

 (8)
 Install the washers (21), the screws (22) and tighten.

 (9)
 Screw and tighten the nuts (28) (Ref. Detail E).

 Connect the line (26) to the cross-union (5) and tighten the nut (27).

 (11)
 Connect the bonding strip (24) and install the bolt (25), the nut

 (23) and tighten.

 (12)
 Connect the bonding strips (11) and install the bolts (14), the washers (13), the nuts (12) and the tighten.

 (13)
 Install the crossfeed valve actuator 5QE (Ref. TASK 28-23-51-400-001).

 D. Do the functional test of the crossfeed system (Ref. TASK 28-23-00-720-001).

 E. Make sure that there is no leakage at the valve (3) the pump (19) and the connections between lines (6) and (7) and remove the container.

 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
