 C. Get Access
 (1) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
 (2) Make sure that the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
 (3) Make sure that the light SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.

 A. Installation of the Load-Compressor Inlet Temperature-Sensor (8011KM)
 (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
 (2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
 (3) Install the new packing (9) and packing (8) to the load-compressor inlet temperature-sensor (8011KM) (1).
 (4) Install the load-compressor inlet temperature-sensor (8011KM) (1). 

 

____ containment shield was removed previously. Otherwise continue with step B.
 (a)
 Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connectors (7).

 (b)
 Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

 (c)
 Install the washers (3) and (6), the nuts (4) and (5).

 (d) Tighten the nuts (4) and (5). R **ON A/C 001-003, 051-099,

 B. Installation of the bottom Load-Compressor Containment-Shield (if previously removed)
 (1)
 Move the notched end of bottom load-compressor containment-shield

 (14) carefully past the witness drain tube and under the LCIT wiring.

 (2)
 Adjust the load-compressor containment shield to align the shield spacer with the bleed-duct assy bolt (10) hole.

 (3)
 Loosely attach the load-compressor containment shield (14) with the bolts (10) and (15).

 (4)
 Make sure that the L-bracket (16) overlaps the outer diameter of the load-compressor containment-shield (14). Tighten the bolt (17).

 (5)
 Attach the bolts (11) and (18).

 (6)
 Install the clamp (12) of the LCIT wiring with bolt (13).

 (7)
 Torque all bolts to 80 lbf.in (0.90 m.daN).

 (8)
 Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connectors (7).

 (9)
 Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct

 

 

 condition.
 (10) Install the washers (3) and (6), the nuts (4) and (5).
 (11) Tighten the nuts (4) and (5). R **ON A/C 001-003, 051-099, 401-499,

 C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.

 D. Do the Self Test of the ECB (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-710-001).

 Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the OFF position.

 Remove the access platform(s).

 (1)
 De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

 (2)
 Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems. (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).

 (3)
 Remove the warning notice(s).
