A. Removal of the Heat Exchanger Drain Tube
(1) Put a container 1 l (0.25 USgal) below the drain mast to catch any fuel remaining in the tube.
(2) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (35) from the drain manifold module and let the fluid drain into the container.
(3) Disconnect the hydro mechanical unit and the fuel servos drain tubes
(5) and (10) from the drain tube (35).
(4) Remove the bolt (25), the nut (30) and the clamp (20) that attach the drain tube (35) to the bracket near the fuel pump.
(5) Remove the bolt (25), the nut (30) and the clamp (20) that attach the drain tube (35) to the clamp on the fuel pump drain tube (15).
(6) Disconnect the drain tube (35) from the heat exchanger.
(7) Remove the heat exchanger drain tube (35) from the engine.
(8) Put protective covers on the heat exchanger, the drain manifold module, and the drain tubes.
(9) Remove the container from below the drain mast.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Installation of the Heat Exchanger Drain Tube
(1) Remove the protective covers from the heat exchanger, the drain manifold module, and the drain tube.
(2) Connect the heat exchanger drain tube (35) to the heat exchanger. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(3) Connect the drain tube (35) to the drain manifold module. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Attach the drain tube (35) to the clamp on the fuel pump drain tube
(15) with the clamp (20), the bolt (25) and the nut (30).
(5) Attach the drain tube (35) to the bracket near the fuel pump with the clamp (20), the bolt (25) and the nut (30).
(6) Connect the hydro mechanical unit and fuel servos drain tubes (5) and
