(c) Remove the outer retainers (60), nuts (120), and inner retainers (110).
(d) Remove the retaining pins (70) from the pin (90).
(4) Lightly lower the engine from the pylon. CAUTION : DO NOT LOWER THE CROSS BEAM MORE THAN 4 MM FROM THE PYLON.

OR DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Put the levers of the hoists of the aft mount in the descent position and lower the aft attach fitting by 4 mm.
(5) Remove the pins from the center link ends, on turbine and mount sides. (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 71-22-11-991-300)
(a) Remove the shear bolt (10) from the shear pin (15).
(b) Remove the shear pin (15), anti-rotation bracket (40), and bracket (20) from the engine mount (85).
(c) Remove the bushing (45), shoulder bushing (80), and bushing (25) from the engine.
(d) Remove the bolts (80), pins (90) and anti-rotation brackets (100). (Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 71-22-11-991-304)
(e) Let the center link stay on the turbine case.
NOTE : You cannot remove the link at this step.

(6) Disconnect the lateral links. (Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 71-22-11-991-304)
CAUTION : THE CROSS BEAM WEIGHS 23 KG (51LBS). DO NOT HIT THE ENGINE

CASE WHEN YOU MOVE THE CROSS BEAM.
(a) Put a rubber mat between the cross beam and the engine turbine case as a protection.
(b) Hold the cross beam while you remove the pins from the lateral link (150) ends, cross beam side. If you do not do this at the same time, the alignment pins (280) will get caught.

(c) Remove the bolts (80), pins (90), and anti-rotation brackets (100).
(d) Push the lateral links (150) to the external side and lower the cross beam (270). When you lower the cross beam, keep it parallel to the pylon attach fitting so as to disengage the alignment pins. Put the cross beam carefully on the engine case.
(7) Remove the pins from the lateral link ends, turbine case side. (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 71-22-11-991-300)
(a) Remove the shear bolt (10) from the shear pin (15).
(b) Remove the shear pin (15), anti-rotation bracket (40), and bracket (20) from the engine mount (85).
(c) Remove the bushing (45), shoulder bushing (80), and bushing (25) from the engine.
(8) Remove the lateral links.
(9) Turn the cross beam lightly (in the horizontal plane, clockwise looking from the top); lift the cross beam to make it touch the intermediate attach fitting on the pylon (alignment pins out of their holes); move the cross beam to the left (displace the attachment eye of the center link through the yoke of the engine case which is not used. This is for the engine cases with four yokes, then move it aft to disengage it.
(10) Remove the center cross beam.
