 A. Installation of the ECU (Channel A) Harness NOTE : For the recommended procedure for the installation of the wire

 harness (Ref. TASK 70-60-00-910-041).

 NOTE : To tighten the flip-lock clamps and line blocks, turn the captive
____ screws or captive bolts 1/4 turn clockwise to engage the cam nuts.
 (1) Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors.

 (2) Put the electrical harness (5) in position on the engine.

 (3) Connect the electrical connectors 402VC-A and 406VC-A to the pylon junction box. (Ref. Fig. 406/TASK 71-51-43-991-311)

 (4) Connect the electrical connector 4004VC-A to the junction box at station 176.

 (5) Put the harness (5) into the flip-lock clamp (10).

 (6) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports of the line blocks. BEFORE SPIB NO. CFM02255MW1

 (7) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (15), (20), (25) attached to the brackets at station 158.

 (8) Put the rubber support into the line block (30) attached to the bracket at station 167.

 (9) Put the clamp (60) on the harness (5). Use the bolt (55) to attach the clamp (60) to the bracket at station 167.
 (10) TORQUE the bolt (55) to between 25 and 30 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.33 m.daN).

 (11) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports of the line blocks (25), (40), (45) and (50). (Ref. Fig. 407/TASK 71-51-43-991-312)

 (12) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (25), (40), (45) and (50).

 (13) Make sure that the harness (5) is correctly installed on the engine.

 (14) Close the line blocks and tighten the captive bolts.

 (15) Put the harness (5) into the flip-lock clamp (35) and tighten the

R (16) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (25) attached to the R brackets at station 158.
R (17) Put the bolt and clamps (17) that attach the harness (5) to the R bracket at station 158.

R  (20) Put the clamp (60) on the harness (5). Use the bolt (55) to attach 
R  the clamp to the bracket at station 167. 
R  (21) TORQUE the bolt (55) to between 25 and 30 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.33
 m.daN).

R  (24) Make sure that the harness (5) is correctly installed on the engine. 
R  (25) Close the line blocks and tighten the captive bolts. 
R  (26) Put the bolt, clamp and anti-rotation lug (37) on the harness (5) and 
R  install on the engine bracket near the ignition exciter A. 
R  (27) TORQUE the bolts (17), (22) and (37) to between 25 and 30 lbf.in
 (0.28 and 0.33 m.daN).

R  (28) Connect the electrical connector 4000JH1-A to the ignition exciter A. 
R  (29) Connect the electrical connectors 4000KS-J1 and 4000KS-J5 to the ECU.
