(a) Install the inner retainers (110), and the nuts (120).
(b) TORQUE the nuts to the minimum value of to between 80 and 95 lbf.ft (10.84 and 12.88 m.daN).
NOTE : TORQUE the nuts (120) to the minimum value; increase the
____ value as necessary to align the nuts with the anti-rotation retainers (60), when the retainers are installed.
(c) Temporarily install the anti-rotation retainers (60) and record the position necessary for alignment of the nuts; then increase the torque on the nuts (120) as necessary (do not torque more than maximum torque value), to align the nuts with the retainers (60).
(d) Install the nuts (130).
(e) TORQUE the nuts to the minimum value of to between 35 and 42 lbf.ft (4.74 and 5.69 m.daN).
NOTE : TORQUE the nuts (130) to the minimum value; increase the
____ value as necessary to align the nuts with the anti-rotation retainers (50), when the retainers are installed.
(f) Temporarily install the anti-rotation retainers (50) and record the position necessary for the alignment of the nuts; then increase the torque on the nuts (130) as necessary (do not torque more than the maximum torque value), to align the nuts with the retainers (50).

(g) With the nuts (120 and 130) torqued and in an aligned position, install the outer retainers (50 and 60) with the bolts (10), washers (20 and 30), and nuts (40).
(h) TORQUE the nuts (40) to between 24 and 27 lbf.in (0.27 and 0.30 m.daN).

A. Remove the Bootstrap System

(1) Remove the chain pulley blocks and the dynamometers from the rear beam (9) and the forward hinge arms (4) and (5).
(2) Remove the two ball pins (8) then remove the rear beam (9) from the pylon.
(3) Remove the ball pins (1) then remove the link (2).
(4) Remove the ball pins (3) and remove the forward hinge arms (4) and (5).
(5) Release the left and right clamps (7) and remove the spacer and the center hinge clamp (6) from the pyramid.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2) Close the thrust reverser doors (Ref. TASK 78-36-00-410-040): FOR 1000EM1 451AL, 452AR FOR 1000EM2 461AL, 462AR
