4. Procedure

Subtask 71-51-43-420-058
A. Installation of the Vibration Sensor Harness NOTE : For the recommended procedure for the installation of the wire
____
harness (Ref. TASK 70-60-00-910-041).
NOTE : To tighten the flip-lock clamps and line blocks, turn the captive
____ screws or captive bolts 1/4 turn clockwise to engage the cam nuts.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors.
(2) Put the electrical harness (5) in position on the engine.
(3) Connect the electrical connector 448VC-A to the pylon junction box.
(4) Put the harness (5) into the flip-lock clamp (25). R R BEFORE SPIB NO. CFM02255MW1 R
(5) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports of the line blocks (10),
(15) and (20).
(6) If removed, put the rubber supports in the 3 line blocks (10) attached to the brackets at station 167.
(7) If removed, put the rubber supports in the line block (15) attached to the bracket at station 174.
(8) If removed, put the rubber supports in the 3 line blocks (20) attached to the brackets at stations 176, 185 and 191.
(9) Make sure that the harness (5) is correctly installed on the engine.

(10) Close the line blocks (10), (15) and (20) and tighten the captive
bolts. R R AFTER SPIB NO. CFM02255MW1 R (Ref. Fig. 410/TASK 71-51-43-991-315) R
R (11) Make sure that the harness (5) is correctly installed on the engine.
R (12) Install the clamps and bolts (12) that attach the harness (5) to the R brackets at station 167.
R (13) Install the clamps, bolt and anti-rotation lug (13) that attach the R harness (5) to the bracket at station 167.
R (14) Install the clamps and bolt (17) that attach the harness to the R bracket at station 174.
R (15) Install the clamps, bolts and anti-rotation lugs (22) that attach the R harness (5) to the brackets at station 176 and 185.
R (16) Install the clamps and bolts (23) that attach the harness (5) to the R bracket at station 191.
R (17) TORQUE the bolts (12), (13), (17), (22) and (23) to between 25 and 30 R lbf.in (0.28 and 0.33 m.daN). R R END SPIB NO. CFM02255MW1 R
R (18) Tighten the captive screw on the flip-lock clamp (25).
R (19) Connect the electrical connector 4002EV-A to the No. 1 bearing vibration accelerometer.
R (20) Examine the harness installation and make sure that all flip-lock clamps and line blocks are installed correctly.
