 Install the FALSE TARGET (98F32304000000) on each proximity sensor (20GA, 21GA, 22GA, 23GA).

R (5) Remove the GROUND SAFETY LOCK or PIN-NLG DOWNLOCK SAFETY (MZ23080000) R as an alternative from the NLG (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).

 On the panel 400VU, move the landing gear control level 6GA to the UP position.

 On the aircraft, the NLG is retracted and locked up.

 (8)
 Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

 De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
 (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

 (10) Put a access platform in position below the zone 123.

 (1) Manually close the aft door of the nose landing gear and connect the rotating rod (5) to the door.
 NOTE : If necessary loosen the nut (2) and turn the nut (4) to
____ increase the length of the rotating rod.
 (2)
 Install the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the nut (7).

 (3)
 TORQUE the nut (7) to 0.3 m.daN (26.54 lbf.in) and safety it with the new cotter pin (6).

 (4)
 Adjust the length of the rotating rod:

 (a)
 Loosen the nut (2).

 (b)
 Turn the nut (4) to make the door touch the rear stop.

 (c)
 Turn the nut (4) 180 deg. to tighten the rod.

 (d)
 TORQUE the nut (2) to between 2.5 and 3 m.daN (18.43 and 22.12 lbf.ft) with the ADAPTOR - WRENCH (98AMS172321000).

 (e)
 Safety the nut (2) with the new lockwasher (3).

 (f) Safety the nut (4) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010). R **ON A/C 106-149, 213-299, 301-399, 401-499,

 D. Adjust the Aft NLG Doors
 (Ref. Fig. 503B/TASK 32-22-00-991-007-B)

 NOTE : If you do the adjustment of the NLG doors after
____ removal/installation of the aft NLG door do not adjust the replaced aft door.

 Manually close and hold the aft door of the NLG to make the door touch the adjustable stop (12).

 (2)
 Adjust the length of the adjustable stop (12) to get the mismatch A between -2 mm (-0.0393in.) and +1 mm (+0.0787in.):

 (a)
 Remove the lockwire of the nut (11) of the adjustable stop (12).

 (b)
 Loosen the nut (11).

 (c)
 Turn the adjustable stop (12).

 (d)
 Tighten and safety the nut (11) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010)..

 (3)
 Connect the rotating rod. NOTE : If necessary loosen the nut (2) and turn the the nut (4) to

____ increase or decrease the length of the rotating rod.

 (4)
 Install the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the nut (7).

 TORQUE the nut (7) to to 0.3 m.daN (26.54 lbf.in) and safety it with the new cotter pin (6) (-0.0393in.) and +1 mm (+0.0787in.):

 (e)
 Safety the nut (2) with a new lockwasher (3).

 (f) Safety the nut (4) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010). Subtask 32-22-00-820-057
 E. Adjust the adjustable stop of the foward NLG doors.
