A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the panel 400VU, make sure that the L/G normal control lever is at DOWN.
(3) Make sure that the free fall control handle assembly is in the normal position.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is in the OFF position.
(5) On the panel 402VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch is at ON.
(6) Pressurize the Green Hydraulic System from the Yellow Hydraulic System through the PTU with the electric pump (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-863-001).

1. Push the left pedal on the Captain or First Officer side.
NOTE : Although the Green
____ hydraulic system supplies the braking system, if you push the pedals quickly:
-a brake pressure indication is shown for a short time on the Yellow pressure triple indicator.

Slowly release the left pedal.
3.
Push the right pedal.
Make sure that :
-all the pistons are retracted on the brake units of the right main gear
-the pistons related to the Greenhydraulic system on the brake unitsof the left main gear extend slowly.on the panel 400VU :
-make sure that the brake Yellowpressure triple indicator 60GG showsno pressure value on RH and LH side.
Make sure that the pistons slowly retract on the two brakes of the left main gear.
Make sure that :

ACTION RESULT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-all the pistons are retracted on the brake units of the left main gear
-the pistons related to the Green hydraulic system on the brake units of the right main gear extend slowly. On the panel 400VU :
-make sure that the brake Yellow pressure triple indicator 60GG shows no pressure value on RH and LH side.
4. Slowly release the right pedal. Make sure that the pistons slowly retract on the two brakes of the right main gear.
