 Subtask 33-48-11-420-052-A
 A. Installation of the Upper Beacon/Strobe Light 7LV.
 (1)
 Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (2)
 Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (3)
 Prepare the electrical bonding point at the flange (3) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

 (4)
 Install the light assembly (2) and the new seal (12) with the countersunk screws (5) on the flange (3).

 (5)
 Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013) to the heads of the countersunk screws (5) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004) and let it dry.

 (6)
 Apply PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-001B) to the head of the countersunk screw (5) which gives the electrical bonding.

 (7)
 Make sure that the bung (10) is correctly installed in the lens (9).

 (8) Put the light assembly (2) together with the movable part of the flange (3) in position.
 NOTE : Make sure that the pin (13) engages correctly in the bung____ (10).
 (9) Install the V-clamp (6) with a new O-ring (4) and tighten the screw (7).
 (10) Safety the screw (7) with BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-007).
 (11) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
 (12) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
 (13) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the light assembly (2).

R  Subtask 33-48-11-420-052

R  (7) Make sure that the bung (10) is correctly installed in the lens (9).

R R  (8) Put the light assembly (2) together with the movable part of the flange (3) in position. 
R R R  NOTE : Only on light with PN 2LA55010-00:____ - Make sure that the pin (13) engages correctly in the bung (10). 
R R  (9) Install the V-clamp (6) with a new O-ring (4) and tighten the screw (7). 
R R  (10) Safety the screw (7) with BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-007). 
R  (11) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors. 
R R  (12) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition. 
R  (13) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the light assembly (2).

 B. Preparation for the Test
 WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED_______ BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
 (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 - put the switch 2LV BEACON  - the upper beacon/strobe light 7LV
 ON-OFF to the ON position.  flashes (1 flash per second).
 - put the swich 2LV BEACON ON-OFF  - the upper beacon/strobe light 7LV
 to the OFF position.  goes off.
