Make sure that the applicable inner wing tank is defueled (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or the fuel is moved from the applicable inner wing tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-869-001).
4. Procedure

A. Preparation for the Installation of the Access Door at RIB1
(1)
Clean the contact surface of the seal (12) on the access door (11) with a CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and a lint free cloth.
(2)
Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-026) on the seal (12), on the face in contact with the door (11).
(3)
Put a new seal (12) on the frame of the door (13).
(4)
Clean the surface around the door (13) with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) to remove the excess of the sealant.

B. Installation of the Access Door at RIB1
(Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 57-17-11-991-002)
(1)
Put the access door (13) in position on the frame at RIB1. NOTE : Hold the access door (13) in position when you install the

fasteners.
(2)
Install the washers (17), (15) and the bolts (18), (16).
(3)
TORQUE the bolts (18), (16) to between 0.8 and 0.9 m.daN (70.79 and
79.64 lbf.in)
NOTE : When you install the bolts (18) do an electrical bonding at
____ each end of the 4 bolts (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-002).
(4)
Install the washers (12) and the bolt (11).
(5)
TORQUE the bolts (11) to between 1.6 and 1.8 m.daN (11.79 and 13.27 lbf.ft).

A. Pressure Refuel
(1) Do a pressure refuel of the applicable tanks (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003).

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the access covers 147AZ, 148AZ (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(3)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
OUTER WING - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

R 1. General
_______ The outer wing is a cantilever structure, attached to the center wingbox at RIB1. The main structure is the wingbox, which tapers from RIB1 to RIB27, and makes the integral fuel tank and the vent surge tank.
The outer wing is in zone 500(600).
