 (e) Tighten the nuts that attach the support fitting:
 1)  Tighten the inboard nuts on the fairing fitting to 290-410 pound-inches (33-46 N-m) (Section B-B). Continue to tighten the nuts to align the subsequent cotter pin hole.
 2)  Tighten the outboard nuts on the fairing fitting to 270-300 pound-inches (31-34 N-m). Continue to tighten the nuts to align the subsequent cotter pin hole.
 3)  Install the cotter pins in the nuts.
 4)  Tighten the nut on the fixed drive link to 290-410 pound-inches (33-46 N-m) (Section C-C). Continue to tighten the nut to align the subsequent cotter pin hole.
 5) Install the cotter pin in the nut. 6) Tighten the nut on the adjustable rod.

 (1)  
Install the adjustable rod (Fig. 401):

 (a)  
Attach the adjustable rod to the support fitting (Section G-G): 1) Install the bushings in the support fitting. 2) Install the bolt, washers and nuts. 3) Tighten the nut.

 (b)  
Adjust the length of the adjustable rod to the correct length of the support fitting (Section I-I, Fig. 401).

 (c)  
Attach the adjustable rod to the fixed drive link (Section C-C, Fig. 401): 1) Install the bushing in the fixed drive link. 2) Install the bolt, washer and nut. 3) Tighten the nut to 270-300 pound-inches (31-34 N-m).

 Continue to tighten the nut to align the subsequent cotter pin hole. 4) Install the cotter pin.

Install the fixed drive link (Fig. 401):

 (a)  
Connect the fixed drive link to the attachment fitting (Section D-D): 1) Put the fixed drive link in its position on the attachment

 fitting. 2) Install the pin. 3) Install the bolt, washers and nut that attach the pin to
 the attachment fitting. 4) Tighten the nut to 60-85 pound-inches (7-10 N-m). Continue to tighten the nut to align the subsequent cotter pin hole.
 (b)  Attach the fixed drive link to the support fitting and the adjustable rod (Section C-C): 1) Install the bushings in the fixed drive link. 2) Install the bolt, washer and nut that attach the fixed
 drive link to the support fitting. 3) Install the bolt, washers and nut that attach the fixed drive link to the adjustable rod.
 4)  Tighten the nut on the support rod to 290-410 pound inches (33-46 N-m). Continue to tighten the nut to align the subsequent cotter pin hole.
 5)  Tighten the nut on the adjustable rod to 270-300 pound-inches (31-34 N-m). Continue to tighten the nut to align the subsequent cotter pin hole.
