(3) Move the drain tube to the rear, through the
rubber grommet in the engine baffles, and clear
of the engine.
(4) Remove the hose clip that attaches the drain
tube to the main engine drain assembly at the
rear of the engine compartment.
B. Install the Fuel Flow Divider Drain

(1) Make sure that the drain tube is not damaged
and that it is not blocked.
(2) Move the drain tube into position through the
rubber grommet in the engine baffle.
(3) Attach the end of the drain tube to the fuel flow
divider with a hose clip.
(4) Attach the other end of the drain tube to the main
engine drain assembly at the rear of the engine
compartment with a hose clip.

4. Remove/Install the Induction Manifold Drain
A. Remove the Induction Manifold Drain

WARNING: YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT THE ENGINE IS SAFE BEFORE YOU
DO WORK ON THE ENGINE DRAINS. MAKE SURE THAT THE
IGNITION SWITCH IS SET TO “OFF”. SET THE THROTTLE TO “IDLE”
AND THE MIXTURE CONTROL TO “LEAN CUT-OFF”.
(1) Disconnect the drain pipe from the manifold drain
connection at the bottom of the engine.
Hold the pipe.
(2) Release the drain pipe from the main engine
drain assembly at the rear of the engine
compartment.
(3) Move the drain pipe clear of the engine.
B. Install the Induction Manifold Drain

(1) Make sure that the pipe is not damaged and that
it is not blocked.
(2) Move the pipe into position below the engine.
(3) Connect the pipe to the drain connection at the
bottom of the engine.
(4) Connect the pipe to the main engine drain
assembly at the rear of the engine compartment.

% Engine Drains - TAE 125 Diesel Engine

% 1. General
% The following engine drains are installed on the TAE 125 Diesel engine:
% ) Breather Line for the crankcase
% ) Coolant Overflow Line

% 2. Description
% A. Breather Line
% The breather line is a rubber hose which is protected with fire sleeve. The breather line is connected
% to the oil separator and discharges at the engine compartment outlet where it is guided through a
% separate duct.
% B. Coolant Overflow Line
% The coolant overflow line is small rubber hose which is connected to the coolant filler neck of the
% coolant tank. In case of overfilling of the coolant tank the excessive coolant is discharged through
% the coolant overflow line at the engine compartment outlet direct beside the breather line duct.
